Rob Callow Personal

Rob has been involved in fitness and sport from an early age but worked in a financial IT career before ill health (repetitive strain injury) led him to change careers. He retrained as a Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist in April 2007 with Premier Training at K2 and set up  HAVIT later in the same year. He has continued his professional development with courses including boxercise, advanced core stability, power plates and kettlebells.

 

Rob has business relationships with several studios and gyms in Brighton and Hove. He worked at Wickwoods Country Club as a Personal Trainer initially and as Gym Manager up to October 2009. He has regularly taught boxercise, circuits and group training at Bluesky Personal Training in Hove and Haywards Heath.

 

In April 2010, Rob ran the Brighton Marathon this year for Cancer Research UK. He has been and is still involved in participating and coordinating local running clubs. When not running Rob likes to practice chi kung and kung fu - the internal and external martial arts of shaolin kung fu.

 

Rob's latest business ventures, HAVIT Bootcamp in Henfield and Shoreham were developed from his work at Wickwoods and his enjoyment in traditional outdoor bodyweight exercises.

  • FitforAll - Rob personally train clients at this friendly, well equipped gym on Portland road in Hove.
  • Revitalise in Hove - Sports Massage and Deep Tissue massage on Friday and Saturday afternoons. And I teach Power Plate classes from 12.30p.m. to 1.30p.m on Tuesdays, 5.30-7p.m on Fridays.

  • Organic Massage and Skincare in Brighton - Uniquely organic aims to offer client individually-tailored treatments that assess the body holistically in order to create improved health and well-being.
